Simon is now based in Shropshire, starting his career in 1998 attending Coleg Glynllifon, completing the Forestry course with a distinction, following this with BSc (Hons) from Aberystwyth University and then MSc from Bangor University.

Simon  became  a professional member of the Institute of Chartered Foresters in 2014,  his 25 year plus experience has seen him excel in roles for Research Institutions,

Forestry England, Forestry Commission

and Small Woods Association

Simon is a proficient forest surveyor, particularly experienced in felling licences, woodland management planning, forest management and harvesting. Simon has a keen interest in biodiversity and carbon markets.
